Maua is committed to developing long-term, sustainable, and site specific landscape designs for hotels and private estates.

Initially rooted in Zanzibar, with strong influences from Omani and Swahili cultures, the studio has since expanded to Paris and now operates on a global scale.

Maua has completed over 30 Landscape projects, collaborating with private clients and investors from around the world. The studio also contributes to the landscape designs of globally recognized hospitality projects, such as Neom and Al Ula in Saudi Arabia.

Our practice centers on a dialogue with the natural elements of each site, viewing landscape architecture as a modest profession.

We aim to step back, allowing the essence of each location to emerge, enhancing and restoring landscapes through simplicity and elegance.

Our goal at Maua is to harmonize the landscape with both the architectural and natural environment, guided by a spirit of openness, curiosity, and a deep respect for the unique characteristics of each place we work.
