Paradero Todos Santos is a design-driven boutique resort located on the Baja California peninsula, set between the Pacific Ocean, desert landscapes, and agricultural farmland. Conceived as an immersive retreat, the project integrates architecture, landscape, and wellness experiences to reconnect visitors with the region’s natural ecosystems and cultural traditions.Developed across a 5-hectare site, the resort is organized as a series of sculptural volumes embedded within a desert oasis landscape. The gardens reinterpret the native environment of Baja California, combining cacti, agave, desert shrubs, and cultivated farmland to create a resilient and climate-adapted landscape. Many existing plants were preserved during construction and reintroduced to the site, reinforcing the project’s ecological approach and sense of place. Circulation paths weave through this desert garden, connecting suites, communal terraces, and the central infinity pool while framing views toward the surrounding mountains and the Pacific coast. The landscape acts as the structural framework of the resort: a sequence of shaded courtyards, agricultural plots, and cactus gardens that blur the boundary between architecture and the natural desert terrain, offering guests an experience deeply rooted in the distinctive environment of Todos Santos.
