Chenot Medical Wellness Resort reimagines a coastal site in Saudi Arabia as a destination for holistic health, preventive medicine, and wellness, extending the internationally recognized expertise of the Swiss Chenot brand. The project integrates architecture, landscape, and therapeutic programs to create a restorative environment where guests reconnect with nature. The island’s landscape framework brings together desert, coastal, and marine elements through regenerated shorelines, ecological corridors, and landforms inspired by dunes and wadis, supporting both the wellness program and the island’s ecology. Within this broader vision, the accommodation patios form intimate garden spaces designed to enhance daily well-being. These sheltered courtyards combine layered vegetation, water features, and shaded pathways to create calm, restorative environments for walking, meditation, and reflection. Using natural stone, sand, and drought-tolerant planting, the patios extend the therapeutic experience outdoors and embody the Chenot philosophy of integrating landscape, architecture, and wellness.
